AN ACT relating to certain Reserves and other lands.

[Assented to 10th December, 1971.1

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Reserves Act, short title.

Reserve No.

(1) Reserve No. 22771 at Narrogin, comprising Narrogin Lot 335, containing one rood and nineteen perches set apart for the purpose of "A Municipal Endowment" and held in trust for that purpose, under Certificate of Title Volume 1146 Folio 612 by the Town of Narrogin, is hereby reduced by the 22771 at Narrogin

excision of all that portion as is now comprised in the land the subject of Land Titles Office Diagram 41480 and its area is reduced to one rood and six and seven- tenth perches.

(2) The land so excised by the operation of subsection (1) of this section is authorised to be sold by the Town of Narrogin to The Narrogin Club Incorporated for an estate in fee simple freed and discharged of all trusts.

18003 at	3. (1) Reserve No. 18093 at Bassendean compris- ing Swan Location 3094, containing one acre and seven perches, set apart for the purpose of "Memorial Park" classified as of Class "A" and placed under the control and management of the Shire of Bassendean is hereby cancelled.

(2) The land that is available from the reserve that is cancelled by the operation of subsection (1) of this section shall, together with the land contained in adjoining Reserve 15514, be set apart as a reserve for the purpose of "War Memorial and Civic Buildings", classified as of Class "A" and vested in the Shire of Bassendean in trust for that purpose.

(1) Reserve No. 18325 comprising Swan Location 3301 containing four hundred and four acres one rood and twenty perches, set apart for the purpose of "Recreation" and vested in the City of Stirling is amended by excising an area of one acre and eight and two-tenth perches and surveyed as part of Swan Location 8573 on Lands and Surveys Diagram 75006.

(2) The land excised by the operation of subsection (1) of this section shall be reserved for the purpose of "Drainage" and vested in the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage Board for that purpose.

purpose of "Racecourse and Recreation" and held in trust in fee simple for that purpose under Certificate of Title Volume 838 Folio 75 registered in the names of Herbert John Lee Steere, Joshua Arthur Waldeck and James Samuel Denton as Trustees for the Moora Race Club is hereby cancelled.

(2) The land that is available from the reserve cancelled by the operation of subsection (1) of this section is revested in Her Majesty as of Her former estate and removed from the operations of the Transfer of Land Act, 1893, with the intention that it shall be reserved again for the purpose of "Racecourse and Recreation" and vested in the Moora Race Club Incorporated in trust for that purpose.

(1) Reserve No. 26838 at Esperance comprising Esperance lot 318, containing thirty-four acres three roods and nine perches, set apart for the purpose of "Parklands" and classified as of Class "A" is hereby amended by excising an area of approximately three acres three roods and twenty-two perches.

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub- section (1) of this section shall be surveyed as Esperance lot 684 and a public road with the intent that lot 684 shall be set apart as a reserve for the purpose of "Museum" classified as of Class "A" and vested in the Shire of Esperance in trust for that purpose.

perches set apart for the purpose of "Recreation", classified as of Class "A" and vested in the City of Nedlands is hereby amended by excising an area of approximately one rood and thirty-one perches.

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub-

section (1) of this section shall be surveyed as Perth

intent that lot 855 shall be set apart as a reserve for the purpose of "Kindergarten and Child Health Centre" and vested in the City of Nedlands with power to lease for that purpose.

Jerdacuttup	comprising Oldfield Location 1029, containing one thousand two hundred and thirty acres, set apart for the purpose of "Stopping Place" and classified as of Class "A" is hereby cancelled.
(2) The land that is available by the operation of subsection (1) of this section shall be granted, under the provisions of section 8 of the Land Act, 1933, by way of exchange for so much area of adjoining Location 995 as is considered by the Land Purchase Board to be of equal value, with the intent that the said portion of Location 995 shall be included in adjoining Class "A" Reserve 29713.
