AN ACT relating to certain Reserves and

other Lands.

[Assented to 8th November, 1968.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Reserves Act,

1968.

Reserve No. 2.

(1) Reserve No. 23480 near Alexandra Bridge comprising Sussex Location 3871 and containing two hundred and fifty acres and five perches, classified as of Class "A", set apart for "Camping and Public Utility" and under the control of the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River as a Board of

Management under the provisions of Section 34 of the Land Act, 1933, is hereby amended by excising an area of five acres, more or less, to be surveyed as Sussex Location 4493.

(2) The Governor is authorised to grant the portion so excised to Colin William Mann of Alexandra Bridge Storekeeper and Amelia Margaret Mann of Alexandra Bridge Married Woman as a Crown Grant in the form of the Third Schedule to the Land Act, 1933, at such price as he may approve.

3. (1) Reserve No. 20567, in Dowerin, containing Aesser".

Class "A" and set apart for the purpose of

"Children's Playground" (Centenary Park), is

hereby amended by excising an area of thirty-nine

and three-tenths perches, now surveyed as Dowerin

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub- section (1) of this section shall be included in Reserve No. 10647 set apart for "Municipal Purposes".

or less, set apart for the purpose of "Esplanade and Recreation", is hereby amended by excising an area of ten acres two roods, more or less, comprising Geraldton Lot 2500 and the contiguous foreshore strip, as shown on Lands and Surveys Diagram No. 73003.
(2) The land excised by the operation of sub- section (1) of this section shall be set apart as a Reserve for the purpose of "Recreation", classified as of class "A", and vested in the Town of Geraldton.

"Recreation" and vested in the Shire of Goomalling, is hereby amended by excising an area of three acres two roods, more or less, to be surveyed as portion of Goomalling Lot 375.

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub- section (1) of this section shall be set apart, together with other contiguous land, as a Reserve for a "High School Site".

(1) Reserve No. 24309 comprising Cockburn Sound Location 1746 and containing one hundred and ten acres, more or less, classified as of Class "A" and set apart for the purpose of "Recreation and Camping" and vested in the Shire of Cockburn, is hereby amended by excising an area of one acre to be surveyed as Cockburn Sound Location 2132.

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub- section (1) of this section shall be reserved for the purpose of a "Navigation Beacon Site" and shall be vested in the Fremantle Port Authority, in trust, for that purpose.

The purpose of Class "A" Reserve No. 25711, comprising Williams Locations 15161, 15282, 15283 and 15284, is hereby altered from "Conservation of Flora" to "Conservation of Flora and Fauna".

The purpose of Class "A" Reserve No. 11016, comprising Williams Location 15295, and vested in the Shire of Narrogin, is hereby altered from "Water and Camping" to "Water, Camping and Recreation".

(1) Reserve No. 12439 comprising Swan Location 3180 containing forty-four acres classified as of Class "A", set apart for the purpose of "Camping" and vested in the National Parks Board, is hereby amended by excising an area of sixteen acres two roods now surveyed as Swan Location 8289.

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub-

section (1) of this section shall be reserved under

the provisions of the Land Act, 1933, for the purpose of "Caravan Park and Camping" and shall be vested in the Shire of Wanneroo, in trust, for that purpose, with power to lease for any period not exceeding 21 years.

(3) The purpose of Class "A" Reserve No. 12439, as amended by the operation of subsection (1) of this section, is hereby altered to "Recreation", and the land in the Reserve as so amended shall be vested in the Shire of Wanneroo, in trust, for that purpose, without power to lease.

10. (1) Reserve 24306, containing 44 acres, more Aso69,r.

An area of 9 acres 1 rood 36.7 perches bounded by lines commencing at a point situate 252 degrees 8 minutes 2 chains 87 and nine tenths links and 173 degrees 47 minutes 8 chains 89 and eight tenths links from the intersection of the southern side of Road Number 614 with the eastern side of Cockburn Road (Road Number 10), as shown on Lands and Surveys Original Plan Resumption 330/1, and extending 173 degrees 47 minutes 8 chains 28 and six tenths links; thence 191 degrees 2 minutes 10 chains 90 and seven tenths links; thence 281 degrees 1 minute 5 chains 92 and five tenths links; thence 11 degrees 2 minutes 13 chains 33 and two tenths links; thence 100 degrees 31 minutes 1 chain 21 and two tenths links; thence 10 degrees 31 minutes 5 chains 6 and two tenths links and thence 90 degrees 45 minutes 2 chains 33 and nine tenths links to the starting point.

(2) The land excised by the operation of sub- section (1) of this section shall be set apart as a Reserve for "Caravan Park", classified as of Class "A" and vested in the Shire of Cockburn with power to lease for that purpose.

10938 at	11. (1) Reserve No. 10438, comprising Avon
Kellerberrin

Location 17893, containing 170 acres, set apart for the purpose of "Racecourse" and held in trust for that purpose, under Crown Lease 1033/1912, for a term of 99 years, registered in the names of Thomas O'Brien, Henry Goldsmith Hummerston and Cecil Vernon Loton, is hereby cancelled.

(2) Crown Lease 1033/1912 (Section No. 415/42) is hereby cancelled and the land comprised therein is revested in Her Majesty as of her former estate, with the intention that it be reserved again for such public purposes as the Governor may approve.
