AN ACT relating to certain Reserves and to revest certain

Lands in the Crown and for other relative purposes.

[Assented to 27th December, 1933.]

B E( it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows :—

This Act may be cited as the Reserves Act, 1933.

Short title.

All those pieces of land being

(a)

portion of Victoria location 317 registered in volume XCII, folio 149, in the Office of Titles in the names of William Bedford Mitchell, bank manager; Thomas Hughes, lightkeeper; and Francis Kelly, storekeeper, all of Dongarra; and

ground

(4115/12).

(b) portions of Victoria location 317 registered in volume 663, folio 151, in the Office of Titles in the names of Frederick Waldeck, Robert Wilberforce Clark- son, and Alfred Thomas Thurkle, all of Dongarra, trustees of the Irwin District Agricultural Society

are hereby revested in His Majesty as of his former estate, to the intent that such lands may be reserved for the purpose of a recreation and showground, and the Governor is authorised to issue to the Irwin Road Board under the laws relating to Crown ].ands a Crown grant of the said lands in trust for such purposes.

50 links east from the eastern side of Bay View terrace shall vest in and be held by the Peppermint Grove Road Board in trust for recreation purposes, with power to the said Board to lease the said lands, with the consent of the Governor, for such purposes for any term not exceeding 21 years from the date of the lease, and provided that any such leases shall take effect in possession not more than three months from the granting thereof.

Class "A" reserve 12385, Denmark lot 90, set apart for park lands, is hereby cancelled to the intent that the land comprised therein may be dealt with under the laws relating to Crown lands as waste lands of the Crown.

All that piece of land being Boulder lot 655 leased for a term of 999 years to John Marquis Hopkins, John Mills Waddell, and James Baird Vernon for• a hall site in connec- tion with the Boulder City Caledonian Society and registered in Certificate of Title volume 229, folio 73, in the Office of Titles, is hereby revested in His Majesty as of his former estate.

The lands described in the Schedule to this Act are hereby vested in His Majesty, freed from any trusts affecting the same to, the intent that the said lands may be created a reserve for a public cemetery and appointed a public ceme- tery under the Cemeteries Act, 1897, provided that lot 7 shall be set apart exclusively for Methodist burials, lot 9 for Roman Catholic burials, and lot 10 for Anglican burials.
