AN ACT to change the purposes of and otherwise relating to certain Reserves and Land held in Trust under the Land Act, 1898.

Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Reserves Act, 1930.

All those pieces of land, being Lake Grace lots 23 and 24, held by Arthur Frederick Bishop, George Harvey, and John Carruthers under a lease from the Crown for the term of nine hundred and ninety-nine years in trust for the purposes of an agricultural hall site may be sur- rendered by the said lessees to the Crown, to the intent that the said lots may be reserved and vested in the Lake Grace Road Board for the purposes of road board offices and hall under the provisions of the Land Act, 1898.

All that piece of land, being Mullewa lot 88, set apart as reserve 17349 for a road board office site and vested in the Mullewa Road Board, may be granted by the Governor to the Mullewa Road Board for an estate in fee simple freed of any trusts, and the said road board is hereby authorised to sell the said land and to transfer the same free of encumbrances, provided that the proceeds of such sale shall be applied towards the erection of road board offices and a public hall at Mullewa for the said board.

All that piece of land, being portion of class " A " reserve 2562, at Geraldton, set apart for esplanade and re- creation, more particularly described in the First Schedule, is hereby . excised from the area of the said reserve, and may be set apart by the Governor for such purposes as he may deem fit under the Land Act, 1898.

" Reafforestation," at Yandil Siding, as described in the re"'

Fourth Schedule, is hereby excluded from such Reserve to the intent that the land may be disposed of under the provisions of " The Land Act, 1898," and amendments.

All that portion of class " A " reserve 2562 bounded by lines starting at the point of intersection of the high water mark of Champion Bay with the Western alignment of Crowther Street and extending southerly along the said alignment to the northern alignment of Marine terrace ; thence westerly along the latter alignment to an angle in the said terrace opposite the north-western corner of suburban lot 69 of Geraldton tovrnsite ; thence north to the high water mark aforesaid ; and thence easterly along the latter to the starting point.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

All that portion of class " A " reserve 1720 (King's Park) bounded by lines starting from a point on the south-westernmost boundary of Perth town lot L75 situate 308 degrees 41 minutes 75 links from the southernmost corner of said lot, and extending 202 degrees 31 minutes 47-6 /10 links ; thence 112 degrees 31 minutes 46 links ; thence 202 degrees 43 minutes

All that portion of Class " A" Reserve 6161 bounded by lines starting from a point on the North boundary of Nelson Location 6687 situate about 14 chains from its North-East corner, and extending North-Westward about 25 chains ; thence North-Eastward to the Western side of a road passing along the Western boundary of the Bridgetown Railway Reserve ; thence along the said side of road North-Westward for a distance of about 20 chains ; thence South-Westward about 22 chains ; and thence South to the North boundary of Nelson Location 6687 aforesaid ; and thence East along the latter about 37 chains 50 links to the starting point. (Area about 76 acres.)
