AN ACT to enable the purpose of portion of Permanent Reserve No. 7214 , and portion of Permanent Reserve No. 1M3 , to be changed.

[Assented to 13th September, 1906.]

DE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and Irrwith- the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

First Schedule to this Act, being portion of Perth Suburban Lot 312, and now dedicated to the purpose of recreation, is hereby excluded from the said reserve, and is constituted public reserve number 1 018 2, and dedicated to the purpose of a public school site.

reserve number A10250.

Power to make

by-laws.

3. Notwithstanding any g

vestin order, lease, or grant of the

said Reserve A10250, the Council of the Municipality of South Perth may expend money derived from the ordinary income of the Municipality, or raised under the provisions of Part XX. of the Municipal Institutions Act, 1900, in improving the said reserve, and make and enforce, and it shall be their duty to make and enforce, by-laws under the Municipal Institutions Act, 1900, for the management, conservation, and use of the said reserve, and such by-laws shall provide for the free admission of the public to all parts of the said reserve.

Every such by-law shall be subject to confirmation by the Governor, and when so confirmed and published in the Government

Gazette shall have the force of law.

First Schedule.

All that piece of land being portion of Reserve 7A91/1\4, containing 5 acres, and bounded by lines starting from the intersection of the South side of Onslow Road with the East side of Derby Road, and extending 9ir 40' 7 chains links along said side of Onslow Road, 180° 40' 7 chains links, 270° 40' 7 chains 7 links to the said side of Derby Road, and along it 00 38' 7 chains 71'0 links to the starting point.

Second Schedule.

That portion of Permanent Reserve No. 1663, containing 61 acres, and bounded by lines starting from the North-West corner of Perth Sub. Lot 481, and extending 249' 54' along the Southern side of Amherst Road to the North- East corner of Sub. Lot 451; thence 148° 47' along its North-Eastern boundary to the Northern side of Lockridge Street; thence starting again at the North-East corner of Sub. Lot 452, and extending 157° 21' along its Eastern boundary to the North side of South Terrace; thence t41' 19' along the North side of said South Terrace to the South-Western side of Labouchere Road ; thence along the latter 339° 54' to the Southern side of Lockridge Street, and from the Northern side of Lockridge Street to the South-East corner of Sub. Lot 431 aforesaid ; thence 249' 54' to its South-West corner, and 339' 54' to the starting point.
