Reserve Bank Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Reserve
Bank Act 1959.

Principal Regulations
1. In these Regulations, “Principal
Regulations” means the Reserve Bank Regulations.
Repeal
2. Regulations 5 and 5a of the Principal Regulations are
repealed.
Financial statements
3. Regulation 8 of the
Principal Regulations is amended:
(a) by omitting
subregulation (1) and substituting the following subregulation:
“(1) The financial statements to be prepared by the Board in accordance
with subsection 81 (1) of the Act are a balance-sheet and profit and loss
appropriation statement in accordance with Form B.”;
(b) by omitting from
subregulation (2) “a form” and substituting “the form”.

Schedule 1
4. Schedule 1 to the Principal
Regulations is amended by omitting Forms B, C, D, E and F and substituting the following form:

DIRECTION
State, in relation to major assets and liabilities, the basis of valuation,
and, where such an asset or liability is realisable or payable in a foreign
currency, the principles adopted in converting into Australian currency the
value of the asset or liability.
Repeal
5. Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is repealed.
