Revocation of Declaration of ‘corresponding State law’

I, BRETT MASON, under section 7 of the Research Involving Human Embryos Act 2002 (the Act) and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, revoke the declaration made by Minister Bishop on 18 October 2004 that Victoria’s Infertility Treatment Act 1995 is a corresponding State law for the purposes of the Act.

This revocation has effect from 12 June 2007.
