Repatriation (Special Overseas Service) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Repatriation (Special Overseas Service) Act 1962.

Medical treatment for widows, &c.

1. Regulation 38 of the Repatriation (Special Overseas Service) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “(4) of section 39” and substituting “39 (4) or 46a(1)”.

Interpretation—Division 4 of Part III

2. Regulation 46 of the Repatriation (Special Overseas Service) Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof “and a child entitled to receive a pension under sub-section 46a ( 1) of the Repatriation Act as applied by the Act”.

Funeral expenses of dependants of deceased members

3. Regulation 50 of the Repatriation (Special Overseas Service) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (e) “and”; and

(b) by adding at the end thereof the following word and paragraph:

“; and (g) a child entitled to receive a pension under sub-section 46a (1) of the Repatriation Act as applied by the Act.”.
