1Name

This is the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment (Production of Clinker) Regulation 2015.

2Commencement

(1)Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001

1  After subclause 677(1) of Schedule 6

Insert:

         (1A)  The production process may or may not involve the physical transformation of Portland cement clinker into cement through a process of comminution with gypsum or other additives. However, the process must involve the production of clinker as described in subclause (1).

2  Clause 679 of Schedule 6

Omit “0.0709”, substitute “0.1252”.
