I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 2 (1) of the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment Act 2006, fix 11 September 2006 as the day on which Schedule 1 to that Act commences.
