Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous

Provisions) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973.

Commencement

1. (1) Subregulation 6 (2) commences on the date of commencement of the Australian National Railways Commission Amendment Act 1988.

(2) Subregulation 6 (3) commences on the date of commencement of section 10 of the Postal Services Amendment Act 1988.

(3) Subregulation 6 (4) commences on the date of commencement of section 9 of the ANL (Conversion into Public Company) Act 1988.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations.

3. The Principal Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 3 the following regulation:

Offices declared for the purposes of paragraph 3 (4) (ra) of the Act to be principal executive offices

“4. For the purposes of paragraph 3 (4) (ra) of the Act, each of the offices specified in Schedule 1 is declared to be a principal executive office.”.

Part-time offices held by full-time officers

4. Paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “the Schedule” and substituting “Schedule 2”.

Schedule

5. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “SCHEDULE” and substituting “SCHEDULE 2”.

Schedule 1

6. (1) The Principal Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 6 the following Schedule:

“SCHEDULE 1 Regulation 4

PRINCIPAL EXECUTIVE OFFICES

1. Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Development Corporation

2. Managing Director of the Australian Shipping Commission

3. Governor of the Reserve Bank

4. Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank

5. Managing Director of the Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation”.

(2) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after item 2 the following item:

“2a. Managing Director of the Australian National Railways Commission”.

(3) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following item:

“7. Managing Director of the Australian Postal Corporation”.

(4) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from item 3 “the Australian Shipping Commission” and substituting “ANL Limited”.
