Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the

Minister of State for Aviation for and on behalf of the Special Minister of State
“6. A person who-
(a) holds any office or appointment, or is otherwise employed, on a full-time basis in the service or employment of the Commonwealth, the Administration of a Territory, a public statutory corporation or an incorporated company all the stock or shares in the capital of which is or are beneficially owned by the Commonwealth or by a public statutory corporation; and

(b) holds, or performs the duties of, an office specified in the Schedule, is entitled to be paid, in respect of the last-mentioned office, the remuneration for the time being determined by the Remuneration Tribunal to be the remuneration to be paid to a person holding that office on a part-time basis or, where the remuneration for the time being determined by the Remuneration Tribunal to be the remuneration to be paid to a person holding that office is so determined without distinction between a person holding that office on a full-time basis and a person holding it on a part-time basis, the remuneration so determined.

1. Port Conciliator under section 85A of the
Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904. 2. Member of the Repatriation Review Tribunal constituted by the
Repatriation Act 1920. 3. Member of the Superannuation Fund Investment Trust referred to in paragraph 30 (1) (b) of
the Superannuation Act 1976. 4. Speaker of the Australian Capital Territory House of Assembly constituted by the
House of Assembly Ordinance 1936 of the Australian Capital Territory.5. Member (other than Speaker) of the Australian Capital Territory House of Assembly constituted by the
House of Assembly Ordinance 1936 of the Australian Capital Territory.6. Commissioner of the Legal Aid Commission (A.C.T.) referred to in paragraph 7 (1) (c) of the
Legal Aid Ordinance 1977 of the Australian Capital Territory.7. Member of the Parole Board of the Australian Capital Territory referred to in paragraph 9 (2) (b) of the
Parole Ordinance 1976 of the Australian Capital Territory.8. Member of the Australian Capital Territory Schools Authority constituted by the
Schools Authority Ordinance 1976 of the Australian Capital Territory, being a member referred to in paragraph 10 (1) (b), (c) or (e) of that Ordinance.”.
(
(a) in relation to the office of member of the Repatriation Review Tribunal constituted by the
Repatriation Act 1920 ,as if these Regulations had come into operation on 20 December 1983; and(b) in relation to the offices of
(i) Commissioner of the Legal Aid Commission (A.C.T.) referred to in paragraph 7 (1) (c) of the
Legal Aid Ordinance 1977 of the Australian Capital Territory; and(ii) member of the Parole Board of the Australian Capital Territory referred to in paragraph 9 (2) (b) of the
Parole Ordinance 1976 of the Australian Capital Territory,
as if these Regulations had come into operation on 28 April 1983.
