Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous

Provisions) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973.

Part-time offices held by full-time officers

Regulation 6 of the Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following sub-regulations:

“(4) The person who, on the day of commencement of this sub-regulation, holds on a full-time basis the office of Commissioner for Superannuation and holds on a part-time basis the office of member of the Superannuation Fund Investment Trust referred to in paragraph 30 (1) (c) of the Superannuation Act 1976 is, while holding the second-mentioned office, entitled to be paid in respect of the second-mentioned office the remuneration determined from time to time by the Remuneration Tribunal to be the remuneration to be paid to a person holding the second-mentioned office on a part-time basis.

“(5) Sub-regulation (4) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 1984.”.
