THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973.

Commencement
1. Regulation 5 shall be
taken to have commenced on 24 November 1988.
Principal Regulations
2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Remuneration Tribunals
(Members’ Fees and Allowances)
Regulations.
Citation
3. Regulation 1 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “Tribunals” and substituting “Tribunal”.
Interpretation
4. Regulation 3 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “Tribunals”
from the definition of “the
Act” and substituting “Tribunal”.

Fees of members
5. Regulation 4 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “$15,119” and substituting “$17,387”.
Allowances
6. Regulation 5 of the
Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “sections
12 and 12f” and substituting “section 12”.
Repeal of regulation 6
7. Regulation 6 of the
Principal Regulations is repealed.
