Remuneration Tribunals (Members' Fees and Allowances) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia,
acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the
following Regulations under the

(a) by omitting “appointed on 24 January 1974 a fee at the rate of $8,700” and substituting “a fee at the rate of $10,325”; and
(b) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:
“(2) In addition to the fee referred to in sub-regulation (1) there is payable to a member a fee of $215 for each day during which he spends not less than 3 hours, otherwise than at a meeting of the Remuneration Tribunal, on the reference to the Remuneration Tribunal dated 7 July 1981 relating to a scheme of compensation for Ministers, members of Parliament and persons who are Judges as defined by section 4 of the
Judges Pensions Act 1968.”.
