1Name

This instrument is the Remuneration Tribunal (Miscellaneous Provisions) Amendment (Road Transport Advisory Group) Regulations 2024.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973.

Schedule 1Amendments

Remuneration Tribunal (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2017

Section 6

Repeal the section, substitute:

6Offices and appointments that are not public offices

For the purposes of paragraph 3(4)(v) of the Act, the following offices and appointments are prescribed:

1. (a)

   the appointment, by Letters Patent, of a person as a Commissioner to inquire into and report on matters specified in the Letters Patent;

2. (b)

   the appointment, under subsection 40F(1) of the Fair Work Act 2009, of a person as a member of the Road Transport Advisory Group;

3. (c)

   the appointment, under subsection 40F(6) of the Fair Work Act 2009, of a person to chair the Road Transport Advisory Group;

4. (d)

   the office of member of a subcommittee established under section 40G of the Fair Work Act 2009;

5. (e)

   the office of chair of a subcommittee established under section 40G of the Fair Work Act 2009.
