  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Remuneration Tribunal (Miscellaneous Provisions) Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 2).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Remuneration Tribunal (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1976

Schedule 1 amends the Remuneration Tribunal (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1976.

(j)the appointment, under the Quarantine Act 1908, of a person:

(i)to conduct a Commission of inquiry into matters relating to all or any of the following:

(A)the outbreak of equine influenza in Australia in 2007;

(B)quarantine requirements and practices relating to such an outbreak;

(C)any matters incidental to the matters referred to in sub‑subparagraphs (A) and (B); and

(ii)to report to the Minister on the matters (including any recommendations relating to the matters).
