These Regulations are the
Remuneration Tribunal (Members’ Fees and Allowances) Regulations 2004 .
These Regulations commence on the date of their notification in the
Gazette .

In these Regulations:
Act means theRemuneration Tribunal Act 1973 .
member means a member of the Tribunal.
Note The Act definesTribunal to mean the Remuneration Tribunal.
For section 12 of the Act, the following fees are prescribed:
(a) for the President — $63 700 per year;
(b) for other members — $30 800 per year.
For section 12 of the Act, the travelling allowances to which a Secretary of a Department is entitled for travel on official business within Australia and internationally, in accordance with a determination under section 61 of the
Public Service Act 1999 , are prescribed as allowances.
