Determination 2010/15:

Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office

(i)        Pursuant to subsections 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.

(ii)        This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments unless otherwise specified.

PART 1 – FULL-TIME OFFICES

1.1       In this part, Determination Number 10 of 2010 is referred to as the Principal Determination.

1.2Table 2A of Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing the current entry for “Executive Director, Australian Solar Institute” with the following entry:

1.3       Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting clause 2.2.11 under       the Additional Provisions.

1.4       Clauses 1.2 to 1.3 have effect on and from 1 September 2010. 

PART 2 – PART-TIME OFFICES

2.1       In this part, Determination Number 11 of 2010 is referred to as the Principal Determination.

2.2Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entry after the entry for “Indigenous Advisory Committee”:

2.3       Clause 2.2 takes effect on and from 1 August 2010.

2.4       From 1 July 2010 until 31 July 2010 the Chair of AAOAC will receive $721 per day and the Member $457 per day. From 1 August 2010 the fees in Table A1A           apply.

2.5       Schedule B of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the entries for       the following committees from clause B1.1 Professional Committees: “Congenital        Abnormalities Subcommittee”, “Expert Group on Outpatient Services”,                 “Fractionation Subcommittee of Human Pituitary Advisory Committee”, “General          Practice Co-ordination Group”, “General Practice Education and Training Council”,

“General Practice Policy Group”, “General Practice Recognition Appeals          Committee”, “General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committees” and “National Drug Information Advisory Subcommittee”.

2.6Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing the current wording in Column 1 of the entry for “Safe Work Australia Council” with “Safe Work Australia”.
