Determination 2010/04:

Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office

(i)        Pursuant to subsections 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.

(ii)        This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments unless otherwise specified.

PART 1 – FULL-TIME OFFICES

1.1In this part, Determination Number 18 of 2009 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.

1.2Table 2A of Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing “$268,270” with “$315,780” in column 2 and “$385,270” with “$432,570” in column 3 of the entry for “Commissioner, Australian Federal Police.”

1.3       Clause 1.2 has effect on and from 7 September 2009.

1.4Table 2A of Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing “$268,270” with “$305,140” in column 2 and “$372,220” with “$418,000” in column 3 of the entry for “Director-General of Security, Australian Security Intelligence Organisation.”

1.5       Clause 1.4 has effect on and from 11 February 2010.
