Determination 2009/13:

Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office

(i)        Pursuant to subsections 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.

(ii)        This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments unless otherwise specified.

PART 1 – PART-TIME OFFICES

1.1       In this part, Determination Number 7 of 2008 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.

1.2       Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the following entries: “Industry Research and Development Board (IRDB)”, “IRDB – Co-opted Member”, “IRDB – Other Committees” and “Venture Capital Registration Board”.

1.3Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entries after the entry for “Tourism Australia“:

1.4The Principal Determination is amended by deleting the current wording in clause A8 of the Additional Clauses to Table A1A and replacing it with the following “A8 Innovation Australia: The Chair and Members of the Innovation Australia Board shall only receive remuneration for one Committee.”

1.5Clauses 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 have effect on and from 1 September 2009.

1.6Table A1A of Schedule A of the principal Determination is amended by replacing the current entry for “Comcover Advisory Board” with “Comcover Advisory Council”.

PART 2 – FULL-TIME OFFICES

2.1       In this part, Determination Number 8 of 2008 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.

2.2Table 2A of Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entry after the entry for “Director of Public Prosecutions”:
