1  Name

This instrument is the Remuneration Tribunal Amendment Determination (No. 3) 2019.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under subsections 7(3) and (4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Remuneration Tribunal (Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Full‑time Public Office) Determination 2018

1  Section 9 (Table 9A, table item dealing with Chief Executive Officer, Infrastructure Australia, column 3)

Insert “Table 10A, item 24”.

2  Section 10 (Table 10A, at the end of the table)

Add:

24 Chief Executive Officer, Infrastructure Australia Ms Romilly Madew will receive an additional fixed loading of $75,000 per year until 29 April 2022.

3  Subsection 14(2) (Table 14B, after table item 9)

Insert:

9A Mr Brad Archer, Chief Executive Officer, Climate Change Authority (see Table 22A, item 27) $263,798

4  Subsection 18(6) (Table 18A, after table item 3A)

Insert:

3B Mr Ben Gauntlett Disability Discrimination Commissioner, Australian Human Rights Commission (see Table 22A, item 28) $40,000

5  Subsection 18(6) (Table 18A, table item 12)

Repeal the item, substitute:

9  Section 14 (Table 3A, item dealing with Australian Sports Commission, column 5)

Omit “item 2”, substitute “items 2 and 23”.

10  Section 15 (Table 3B, at the end of the table)

Add:

23 Australian Sports Commission The Hon Hugh Delahunty is to receive, on and after 4 May 2019 while he occupies the office of member, an annual fee of $39,487 instead of the amount in Column 4 of Table 3A.
