Regulations under the Remuneration Ordinance 1976'

I, ROBERT JAMES ELLICOTT, the Minister of State for the Capital Terri­ tory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Remuneration Ordi­ nance 1976.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Remuneration Regulations.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, "the Ordinance" means the Remuneration Ordi­

nance 1976.

Member of Canberra Showground Trust

3. A person who—

(a)

holds, or performs the duties of, the office of member of the Canberra Showground Trust;

(b)

holds an office or appointment, or is otherwise employed, on a full- time basis in the service or employment of the Commonwealth or of an authority of the Commonwealth or the Territory; and

(c)

does not hold, or perform the duties of, the office referred to in para­ graph (a) in his capacity as—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

(i)    a person holding, on a full-time basis, an office or appointment of a kind referred to in paragraph (b); or

(ii)     a person employed in the manner referred to in paragraph (b),

is a person to whom fees and allowances are payable in accordance with sub­

sections 3 (4), (6), (7) and (8) of the Ordinance.
