BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
(a) by omitting from sub-paragraph (4) (a) (i) “$120” and “$85” and substituting “$130” and “$95”, respectively; and
(b) by omitting from sub-paragraph (4) (a) (ii) and from paragraph (4) (b) “$27” and substituting “$29”.

(b) by omitting from sub-paragraph (4) (a) (ii) and from paragraph (4) (b) “$27” and substituting “$29”.

(a) by omitting paragraph (2) (a) and substituting the following paragraphs:
“(a) an office came into existence before the commencement of the
Remuneration and Allowances Amendment Act 1983 and the Tribunal has not determined the remuneration to be paid in respect of that office;(aa) an office comes into existence after that commencement; or”;
(b) by omitting from sub-section (2) “to the holder of that office” and substituting “in respect of that office”; and
(c) by omitting from sub-section (3) “to the holder of an office” and substituting “in respect of an office”.
