HEREAS it is expedient to authorise the Governor to rcmit Preamble.

certain rents and renewal fines due in respect of the mineral leascs of the Crown hereinafter mentioned,, and to authorise the renewals of certain mineral leases, and to forfeit certain other mineral leases, as hereinafter inentioncd-BC it therefore enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parliament assembled,

fines which are now payable for the renewal of the leases enumera-

ted in the Third Schedule hereto, and to repay any such fines as

have already been paid: Provided that application for such remis-

sion or repayment shall be made within six months from the pas~ing

of this Act.

and unpaid on the 30th June, 1879, shall thereupon absolutely

determine and become forfeited, and the land included therein

shall revert to the Crown.
