1 Short title
This regulation may be cited as the Relationships (Civil Partnerships) and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2016 .
2 Commencement
This regulation commences on 22 March 2016.
Part 2 Amendment of Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Regulation 2015

This part amends the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Regulation 2015.

(1)For section 20A(1)(a) of the Act—(a)the annual registration fee prescribed is $140; and(b)the day prescribed for giving the registrar the annual registration fee is the anniversary day of the person’s registration.(2)For section 20A(1)(b) of the Act, the day prescribed for giving the registrar an annual return is the anniversary day of the person’s registration.(3)In this section—anniversary day, of a person’s registration, means the day in each year that is the anniversary of the person’s registration under section 20 of the Act.
