THE TERRITORY FOR T H E SEAT OF GOVERNMENT.

REGULATION UNDER THE LEASES ORDINANCE 1918-1919.

I GEORGE FOSTER PEA'RCE, the Minister of State for upon me by section 5 of the Leases Ordinance 1918-1919, hereby , Home and Territories, pursuant to the powers conferred

make the following new Regulation, to come into operation

forthwith.

22. (1) The Minister may, without inviting applications there- for, by notice in the Gazette, grant a lease to trustees for the residents of the Territory, or any part thereof, of any land for use by the said residents as a recreation and sports ground.

(2) Any lease granted in pursuance of this Regulation shall be for a period not exceeding twenty-five years, and shall, not- withstanding anything contained in these Regulations, be upon such terms and conditions as the Minister determines.
