188 Regulation of Sugar Cane Prices Act Amendment Act 1981, No. 22 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Regulation of Sugar Cane Prices Act Amendment Act 1981. (2) The Regulation of Sugar Cane Prices Act 1962-1972 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Regulation of Sugar Cane Prices Act 1962-1981. 2. Amendment of s. 5. Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the definition " Minister " and substituting the following definition:- Minister " means the Minister for Primary Industries or other Minister of the Crown who, at the material time, is charged with the administration of this Act and includes a Minister of the Crown who is temporarily performing the duties of Minister;". 3. Amendment of s. 16. Section 16 of the Principal Act is amended by in subsection (2) omitting provision (v) and substituting the following provision:- (vv) ) a person experienced in economics or commerce or accountancy or audit.". 4. Amendment of s. 20 . Section 20 of the Principal Act is amended by in subsection (2) omitting at the end of provision. (d) the expression and substituting the following expression and words:- 46 . (e) resigns his office as a member by writing signed by him and furnished to the Minister; (f) ceases to be qualified as a member: ".
