Registration of Deeds (Fees) Regulations 1992

under the Registration of Deeds Act 1935

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Registration of Deeds (Fees) Regulations 1992.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 30 July 1992.

3—Revocation

The Registration of Deeds Act (Fees) Regulations 1982 (see Gazette 16.9.1982 p808), as varied, are revoked.

4—Fees payable to Registrar-General of Deeds

The fees set out in the Schedule are payable to the Registrar-General of Deeds.

Schedule—Fees

 

1	For registering—
(a) an instrument of conveyance, a legal or equitable mortgage or any other instrument	$94
(b) an instrument of conveyance, mortgage or other instrument that has been dated 30 years or more prior to production for registration	No fee
2	For depositing a deed, agreement, writing, assurance, map or plan	$13
3	For enrolling an instrument	$13
4	For a copy of an instrument that has been registered, deposited or enrolled	$6.20

Revocation of regulations

The Registration of Deeds (Fees) Regulations 1992 were revoked by Sch 1 cl 1 of the Registration of Deeds (Fees) Regulations 2004 on 1.7.2004.
