An Act to amend the Registration of Deeds Act 1957

Notified under the Legislation Act 2001 on 8 September 2003

(see Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1. Name of Act

   This Act is the Registration of Deeds Amendment Act 2003.

2. Commencement

   This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Act amended

   This Act amends the Registration of Deeds Act 1957.

4. Definitions for Act
   Section 2, definition of deed, paragraph (c)

   omit

   who has not attained the age of 18 years
