REGISTRATION OF DEEDS.

No. 23 of 1923.
AN ACT to amend an Ordinance to consolidate and amend the Laws relating to the Registration of Deeds, Wills, Judgments, and Conveyances affecting Real Property.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Registration of Deeds short title.
Amendment Act, 1923.

year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled °
"An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the Laws relating
to the Registration of Deeds, Wills, Judgments, and Convey-
ances affecting Real Property," is hereby repealed, and a
section is inserted in place thereof, as follows:-

memorial containing the particulars hereinafter speci- fied, and signed either by a practitioner within the mean- ing of the Legal Practitioners Act, 1893, or by any other person requiring the registration thereof :
Provided that if such memorial is signed by some per- son other than a practitioner as aforesaid, his signature must be attested by a witness qualified to attest the ex- ecution of instruments under the Transfer of Land Act, 1S92-
