Instruments "-Be it therefore 31nacted by thc Govcmor-in-Chief of the l'rovincr: of Sonth Anstralin, with tlrc ad\-iqe 2nd coilsent of the Legislative Council and llouse of Aesenlblr of the mid Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follo<&:

1. An Act, KO. 27 of 1862, int,itulctf " An .Act; to ainend the law
relating to the ltegistmtion and Ikposit of Dcccls and other Instru-
ments," | is hereby repealed, exccpt so fnr as is ncccssary to continue |
the present qual&cation of Z E E E s entitle[l to w t a at: t l ~ c election of Members of the Lcgislstive Council, which s l d l rclhin the samc
as though this Act had not been passed: Provicied that nothingherein contained shall prevent any uarty or parties, plaintiff or defendant from availing himself of the^operation of the said repealed Act in prosecuting or defending any action or suit which shall be pending at the time of the passing of this Act, and any such action or suit may be prosecuted or defended as if this Act had not been passed.
2. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to alter the effect Nothing to affectacts
of any deed or other instrument duly registered or deposited underrcgisteroda
the said Act, No. 27 of 1862, previbusly to the commencement of

and chattels mentioned therein be taken and kept in pursuance of any such bill of sdc or assignment, within fourteen days from the making thereof, shall be as valid and effectual for all intents and |
3'- purposes as if the same had been registered or possession had been taken and kept under any such bill of sale as prescribed by the said clause, within five days from the making thereof, anything in the said Act No. 8 of 5th Victoria to the contrary notwithstanding.I n the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent to
