AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages

Ordinance 1963-1974.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under

the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910-1973.

REGISTRATION O F BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES

ORDINANCE 1975

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Registration of Births,

Deaths and Marriages Ordinance 1975.*

(2) The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages Ordinance

1963-1974f is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3 ) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may

be cited as the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages Ordinance
1963-1975.

2. Section 21 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from sub-section (1) the words " twenty-one years " and substituting the figures and word " 1 8 years ".

3 . Section 22 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting

from sub-section (1) the words " One dol lar" and substituting the

symbol and figure " $2 ".

4. The Fifth Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is repealed and

the following schedule substituted:—
