REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976 - REGULATION

(Relating to the notification of the grant of an application to hold

certain functions on registered club premises)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Registered Clubs Act 1976, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Registered Clubs Regulation 1983 is amended by inserting after

clause 26 the following clause:

Appropriate member of the police force

26AA. For the purposes of section 23 (2) of the Act, the appropriate member of the police force is a patrol commander or acting patrol commander.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Registered Clubs Regulation 1983 to provide that the registrar of the Licensing Court must notify a member of the police force who is a patrol commander or acting patrol commander of the grant of an authority for a non-member of a registered club or a person under the age of 18 years to attend a function on registered club premises.
