REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976 - REGULATION

(Relating to the lodgment by registered clubs of

supplementary information relating to their accounts)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive

Council, and in pursuance of the Registered Clubs Act 1976, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 19th December, 1990.

Amendment

2. The Registered Clubs Regulation 1983 is amended:

(a) by omitting clause 22;

(b) by omitting Form 6 from Schedule 1.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Registered Clubs Act 1976 requires each registered club to lodge with the Liquor Administration Board a copy of the duly audited balance sheet and profit and loss account (or income and expenditure account) submitted to its annual general meeting. In addition, the Registered Clubs Regulation 1983 requires each such club to lodge supplementary information in support of those documents, providing details of the club’s assets and liabilities.

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Registered Clubs Regulation 1983

so as to remove the requirement that the clubs provide the supplementary
information.
