REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976—REGULATION

(Relating to administrative change)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Registered Clubs Act 1976, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Registered Clubs Regulation 1983 is amended by omitting clause

20R (1) (c) and by inserting instead the following paragraph:

(c) the Director-General of the Department of Gaming and Racing or a senior officer of the Department appointed by the Director- General; and

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Registered Clubs Regulation 1983 to omit a reference to the superseded position of Secretary of the Chief Secretary’s Department and replace it with a reference to the new position of Director-General of the Department of Gaming and Racing.

This Regulation is made under section 73 (the general regulation making power) of

the Registered Clubs Act 1976.
