His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Registered Clubs Act 1976.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to declare the alcoholic ice block to be an undesirable liquor product that is not permitted to be sold or supplied at a registered club.

This Regulation is made under section 57C of the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (a provision inserted into the Act by the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 2000).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Registered Clubs Amendment (Prohibited

Products) Regulation 2000.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 31 December 2000.

3 Amendment of Registered Clubs Regulation 1996

The Registered Clubs Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.

4 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

(Clause 3)

Clause 50A

Insert after clause 50:

50A Sale of undesirable liquor products

For the purposes of section 57C of the Act, the following are
declared to be undesirable liquor products:
alcoholic iceblock—a product sold in an individual package or
individual packages for consumption in frozen form and which,
at 20( Celsius, contains more than 1.15 per cent ethanol by

volume.
