His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Registered Clubs Act 1976.

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Registered Clubs Regulation 1996 to enable the Technical Standards for Gaming Machines and Subsidiary Equipment in New South Wales, which is referred to as effective as from 1 July 1995 in the definition of an “X” standard gaming machine in the Regulation, to be referred to as in force from time to time following an amendment to the general regulation-making power in the Registered Clubs Act 1976 by the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 1997 (Schedule 1 [2]).
The Regulation also makes a minor amendment by way of law revision
(Schedule 1 [ l ] ) .
This Regulation is made under the Registered Clubs Act 1976, including
section 73 (the general regulation-making power).

This Regulation is the Registered Clubs Amendment (Approved

Gaming Devices) Regulation 1998.

The Registered Clubs Regulation l996 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.

Omit ”section 23AA (4)“. Insert instead ”section 23A (4)“.

disposing of non " X " standard gaming machines
Omit “effective as from 1 Ju ly 1995" from paragraph (a ) of the
definition of “ X ” standard gaming machine.
Insert instead “as in force from time to time“.
