Redundant Legislation Repeal Act 2016

An Act to repeal, rescind and revoke spent legislation

[Royal Assent 21 June 2016]

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Redundant Legislation Repeal Act 2016 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Repeal of ActThis Act is repealed on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it commences. 4Legislation repealedThe legislation specified in Schedule 1 is repealed. 5Legislation rescindedThe legislation specified in Schedule 2 is rescinded. 6Legislation revokedThe legislation specified in Schedule 3 is revoked.
