AN ACT for the Redistribution of Seats at Parliamentary
Elections.
[Assented to 15th April, 1929.]
Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byand with the advice and consent of the Legislative
this present Parliament assembled, and. by the authority of
the same, as follows :-
1. This Act may be cited as the Redistribution of Seats short time.
Act, 1929, and shall come into operation on a date to be
fixed by proclamation.
| The State shall be divided into fifty Electoral Dis- tricts, each returning one member to the Legislative Assembly, and such Electoral Districts shall be designated by the names stated in the first column of the Schedule to this Act, and the boundaries of each Electoral District shall be as described in the second column of the said Schedule : | Electors/ Districts. |

| Provided that Members of the Legislative Assembly shall continue to sit for the district represented by them at the commencement of this Act until the expiry by effi uxion of time, or the sooner dissolution, of the Legislative Assembly. |

3. The ten Electoral Provinces shall be designated, Electoral Products.
as heretofore, by the names stated in section six of the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899, and the existing

boundaries of such provinces at the date of the passing of this Act, as determined by the Redistribution of Seats Act, 1911, shall, until otherwise determined by Parliament, continue and be unaffected by this Act, or the proclam- ation whereby it is brought into operation.

1911.
