direct and easy means of eonveyance for passengers and goods hetweenr the llailway Terminus at Uedfern and nunter-streed Sydney Ec it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and conscnit of the Legislative Council and Eegislativc Assembly of New South Wales in Earliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

purposes of this Act and shall he subject to all the like rules regula tions and responsibilities in relation thereto as he is subject to in relation to the duties iin^iosed upon him by the said last recited Act so far as the same are applicable to such purposes And except as herein expressly enacted all other the prorisions of the same Act applicable to tlie construction completion management maintenance conduct working and regulation of the lines of railroad to he constructed thereunder shall so far as applicable as aforesaid apply to the con struction completion management maintenance conduct working and regulation of the tramroad to he constructed under this Act.
