RECREATION VEHICLES ACT 1983—REGULATION
(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Recreation Vehicles Act 1983, has been pleased
to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1 July 1995.
Amendment
2. The Recreation Vehicles (General) Regulation 1985 is amended by
omitting items 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 from Schedule 4 and by inserting instead
the following items:

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to increase certain fees payable in connection with
the administration of the Recreation Vehicles Act 1983.
This Regulation is made under that Act, including section 44 (the general
regulation-making power, in particular section 44 (1) (k)).

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to increase: (a) certain fees for an aquatic licence; and (b) the fee for the registration of a registrable vessel; and
(c) the fee for the recording of the acquisition of the control of a registrable vessel; and
(d)
the fee for the issue of a duplicate certificate of registration or a duplicate registration plate in relation to a registrable vessel; and
(e) the fee for the issue, renewal or replacement of trade plates; and
(f)
certain fees for a general, general young adult or commercial licence to navigate at speed, including the fee for the issue of a duplicate licence,
payable to the Maritime Services Board as set out in the Water Traffic Regulations—
N. S.W. This Regulation is made under the Maritime Services Act 1935, including section 38
(the general regulation-making power, in particular, section 38 (2) (fi) and (3) (b)).
