Recreation Grounds (Regulations) (Penalties) Amendment Act 2010

An Act to amend the Recreation Grounds (Regulations) Act 1931.

The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1Preliminary1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Recreation Grounds (Regulations) (Penalties) Amendment Act 2010.

2Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2Amendment of Recreation Grounds (Regulations) Act 1931
3Amendment of section 3 – General regulations relating to recreation grounds
  1. (1)

    Section 3(1)(d)—delete "about to enter, entering, being on, or quitting, any" and substitute:

    on, or in the vicinity of, a

  2. (2)

    Section 3(1)(j)—delete "two hundred dollars" and substitute:

    $5 000

  3. (3)

    Section 3(1)—after paragraph (j) insert:

    1. (k)

      prescribing expiation fees (not exceeding $315) for alleged offences against the regulations.
