Records of Offences (Access) Amendment Rules 2000

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following rules under the Records of Offences (Access) Act 1981 .7 August 2000

1Short titleThese rules may be cited as the Records of Offences (Access) Amendment Rules 2000 . 2CommencementThese rules take effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 commences. 3Principal RulesIn these rules, the Records of Offences (Access) Rules 1984 are referred to as the Principal Rules. 4Rule 16 amended (Evidence of demerit points by certificate) Rule 16(a) of the Principal Rules is amended by omitting " section 43F of the Traffic Act 1925 " and substituting "the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 ". 5Schedule 1 amended (Forms) Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from Forms 1 and 2 "the Transport Commission" and substituting in each case "the Registrar of Motor Vehicles"; (b) by omitting from the reference to the date in Forms 1 and 2 "19" and substituting in each case "20".
