RECORDS OF DEPOSITIONS regulations

Regulations under the Records of Depositions Act

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Records of Depositions Regulations.

2Commencement

The Regulations shall come into operation on the commencement of the Records of Depositions Amendment Act 1983.

3Fees

For section 13(1) of the Act, the fees for the provision of a copy of the depositions of a witness in a proceeding before the court are as follows:

• (a)

  for a copy of a transcript of the record or the record (not being a copy certified by writing under the hand of the clerk of the relevant court to be a true copy) – an amount calculated at the rate of 14 revenue units per page of typewritten copy; and

• (b)

  for a copy of a transcript of the record or the record certified by writing under the hand of the clerk of the relevant court to be a true copy – an amount calculated at the rate of 14 revenue units per page of typewritten copy and in addition 10 revenue units.
