Real Property (Amendment) Ordinance 1982

Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the Real Property Ordinance 1925

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Real Property (Amendment)

Ordinance 1982.1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Real Property

Ordinance 1925.2

Registration of declaration by executor

(a)	by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 1 and substituting "24";
(b)	by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 2 and substituting "24";
(c)	by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 4 and substituting "24";
(d)	by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 5 and substituting
"24";

3. Section 138B of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting "a fee of

$14," and substituting "the fee specified in the Eighteenth Schedule,".

Eighteenth Schedule

4. The Eighteenth Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is amended

(e) by inserting after Item 5 the following Item:

"5 A On lodging for registration an instrument by which an executor declares that he holds as trustee or beneficiary 24";

(f)	by omitting "20" (wherever occurring) from the Third Column of Item 6 and substituting "24";
(g)	by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 7 and substituting "24";
(h)	by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 8 and substituting "24"; and

(i)     by omitting "20" from the Third Column of Item 10 and substituting "24".
