An Ordinance to amend the Real Property Ordinance 1925

Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

REAL PROPERTY ( A M E N D M E N T ) O R D I N A N C E 1980

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Real Property (Amendment) Ord­

inance 1980.1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Real Property

Ordinance 1925. 2

(a)	by omitting "14" from the Third Column of Item 1 and substituting "20";
(b)	by omitting "14" from the Third Column of Item 2 and substituting
"20";

Commencement

3. This Ordinance shall come into operation on 1 July 1980.

Registrar may require map to be deposited

4. Section 64 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from sub­

section (1) "the registry office" and substituting "the office of the Registrar".

Eighteenth Schedule

5. The Eighteenth Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is amended—

(c)	by omitting "14" from the Third Column of Item 4 and substituting "20";
(d)	by omitting "14" (wherever occurring) from the Third Column of Item 6 and substituting "20";
(e)	by omitting " 1 4 " from the Third Column of Item 7 and substituting "20";
(f)	by omitting "14" from the Third Column of Item 8 and substituting "20";
(g)	by omitting "14" from the Third Column of Item 10 and substituting "20";and
(h)	by adding at the end thereof the following items:

" 1 1 For furnishing a copy, other than a certified copy, of a registered grant

or certificate of title 2

1 2        For furnishing a copy, other than a certified copy, of an instrument pre­

viously lodged at the office of the Registrar 1

13        For furnishing a copy of a map or plan previously deposited at the office

of the Registrar 0.50"
