An Ordinance to amend the Real Property Ordinance

1925-1961.

Short title

and 1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Real Property
citation. Ordinance 1963.*
(2 . ) The Real Property Ordinance 1925-1961f is in this

Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3 . ) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordi-

nance, may be cited as the Real Property Ordinance 1925-1963.

Crown grants 2 . Section seventeen of the Principal Ordinance is amended
Crown leases by omitting from sub-section (2 . ) the words " shall be delivered

Fee*.

3 . Section one hundred and thirty-nine of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting sub-section (2 . ) and inserting in its stead the following sub-section:—

No. 7, 1961.

" (2 . ) The fees specified in items 1, 6, 7 and 8 of the

Eighteenth Schedule shall be paid at the time of lodgment or depositing and the other fees shall be paid in advance.".

Second 4. The Second Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is
Schedule. amended by omitting the words—

" Fees.

For noting caveat 10s.
For withdrawing or cancelling caveat 5s."

5. The Eighteenth Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is

repealed and the following Schedule is inserted in its stead:—

THE EIGHTEENTH SCHEDULE.

Sections 17, 21, 64, 65, 66, 139 and 141.

FEES PAYABLE TO THE REGISTRAR.

Matter.

On lodging a grant for registration under section 17 of this

Ordinance

For issuing a certificate of title
And, where more than one plan or diagram is endorsed on the

certificate or one plan or diagram of a piece of land that is not rectangular in shape is endorsed on the certificate, such additional fee (if any), not exceeding £5 Os. Od., as the Registrar directs to be paid.

For a general search
For a search

For every certified copy under section 65 of this Ordinance, per

folio of seventy-two words

And, if a plan or diagram is included in the certified copy, such fee, not being less than 10s. Od. nor more than £5 0s. Od. as the Registrar directs to be paid.
On lodging for registration a memorandum of transfer of an estate in fee simple or Crown Lease, for each £100 or part of £100 of the value of the land transferred

On depositing any map or plan

On lodging for registration, entry or notation any other instru-

ment, notice, document or matter

Or, if the instrument, notice, document or matter purports to deal with or affect land contained in more than one grant, certificate of title or other instrument—

(a) for the first memorial, entry or notation

(b) for each memorial, entry or notation after the first
