AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Real Property Ordinance 1925-1937.

BE it ordained by the Administrator of the Government of the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal	Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Govern-
ment (Administration) Act 1910-1933, as follows :—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Real Property snort title

Ordinance 1938.

(2.) The Real Property Ordinance 1925-1937 is in this Ordi-

nance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,

may be cited as the Real Property Ordinance 1925-1938.

2. Section one hundred and forty of the Principal Ordinance Fee payable

is amended— brining land

(a) by omitting from the proviso to sub-section (1.) the ordinance,

words " outside the City Area " and inserting in their

stead the words " for farming purposes " ; and

(6) by adding at the end of that proviso the following

words :•—

" For the purposes of this sub-section, ' farming purposes' includes agricultural, horticultural, pastoral and grazing purposes and, without affecting the generality of the foregoing provisions, also includes dairy farming, poultry farming and bee farming.".
