AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Real Property Ordinances 1925.
Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the BE it ordained by the Deputy of the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Government
{Administration) Act 1910, as follows :—1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Real Property Short title and
Ordinance 1926.
(2.) The Real Property Ordinances 1925 is in this Ordinance referred
to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may
be cited as the Real Property Ordinance 1925-1926.
2. Section eighty-six of the Principal Ordinance is amended by i*aSe may be
adding at the end of sub-section (2.) the following proviso :— endorsement signed by lessee "Provided that, where the Commonwealth is the lessor, the Rndlessor-
endorsement may be sealed by the Commission with its common seal, and that sealing shall constitute and be evidence of the acceptance by the Commonwealth of the surrender.".
Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at 3 . Section one hundred and thirty of the Principal Ordinance is Powers of
amended by omitting from sub-section (1.) the word " Territory " and
inserting in its stead the word " Commonwealth ".
